The minaret 100 is a great goto freeride boot. It comes with a fantastic walk mode that works just as good as most touring boots, so you're not going to be the one struggling up the stairs to the first lift every morning. It also comes with a pin system, which means it is touring capable if you get a random urge to climb up the mountain instead of taking the chairlift.
K2 have used an intuition liner which is super comfy and naturally moulds to your foot really well.
Overall this is a great boot for someone who wants to do a lot of all-mountain/ freeride skiing but wants to be able to have their hand at touring now and then.
