Volkl Blaze 86 W Skis

The Blaze 86w is a playful all-mountain/freeride ski. It suits various skiing abilities as an all-round fun ski due to its strength whilst remaining a lightweight and easy ski to be on. Develop your skiing as an intermediate as it moves with ease or tear it up all over the mountain as an advanced skier. The 86 width and rocker in the tip allows you to cover more ground by being able to take it off piste as it floats in the soft snow. 

Considering touring? This weighs about 100g more than a touring specific ski but still remains to be lightweight, it’s more than capable of going uphill and can hold its own when you let it rip downhill. Volkl recommends you pair this ski with a Kingpin if you want to tour.

3 Radius Sidecut - long radius in tip and tail for big turns at high speed and short radius under foot for short turns at slower speed.

Full Sidewall - strong power emission.

Tip & Tail Suspension - elastic TPU inserts in the tip and tail act as bumpers in tracked snow as well as ensuring catch free float.

Hybrid Multilayer Woodcore - poplar and beech wood is weighed and selected before being glued. The wood extends to the full length of the ski. There is a CNC-milled Isocore in the centre to ensure liveliness.
