Clew is new for Snowfit this season after excelent feedback on our customer test trip. Clew are a forward-thinking company that specializes in innovative snowboard bindings, known for revolutionizing the ease and efficiency of binding systems. Founded in Germany, Clew set out to address one of the most common frustrations for snowboarders: the time-consuming process of strapping in and out of bindings. To solve this, Clew developed a quick-release binding system that allows riders to easily step in and out of their bindings without compromising performance or security.
Clew’s bindings feature a unique design that combines the convenience of step-in bindings with the reliability and responsiveness of traditional strap bindings. The system uses a rear-release mechanism, allowing riders to step into the binding and secure it quickly, while the highback locks firmly into place. To release, a simple pull on the release handle disengages the highback, making it easy to step out without the hassle of undoing straps.
