Buff

Buff, are renowned for specializing in multifunctional neckwear and headwear so much so that many people often call any brand neckgaiter as "a BUFF". Founded in 1992 by Joan Rojas in Igualada, Spain. The company’s origins trace back to Rojas’ need for a versatile piece of gear during his motorcycling trips across Europe. He wanted a product that could provide warmth and protection from the elements without the bulk of traditional scarves or neckwear. After experimenting with different fabrics, Rojas developed a seamless, tubular piece of microfiber fabric that could be worn in multiple ways, providing comfort and versatility. This innovation led to the creation of the first Buff® product, short for "bufanda" (Spanish for "scarf").

Buff quickly gained popularity for its practical and adaptable design, appealing to outdoor enthusiasts, athletes, and everyday adventurers. The product's unique ability to be worn as a neck gaiter, headband, beanie, balaclava, or even a wristband made it a must-have item for those who spend time outdoors, whether hiking, skiing, running, or cycling.

The company's success lies not only in the multifunctionality of its products but also in its use of high-quality materials. Buff introduced UV protection, moisture-wicking fabrics, and breathable, quick-drying materials, making its products ideal for a wide range of conditions. Over time, the brand expanded its offerings to include specialized collections for different sports, climates, and styles, such as Buff Polar, Buff CoolNet UV+, and Buff Merino Wool lines.

Sustainability has also become a key focus for the company, with many of its products now made from recycled materials, such as plastic bottles.

Today, Buff is recognized globally for its innovative, multifunctional headwear, combining style, performance, and sustainability, making it a favorite among outdoor lovers and athletes worldwide.
