The Emerge Mips is a perfect freestyle & freeride helmet, so if it can withstand the knocks in those types of skiing, I think for just a holiday the Emerge is going to serve you really well. Featuring the new MIPS safety system that is MIPS but even better. The system works the same as the old but is intergrated into the helmet more.
